We exchange current banknotes in circulation and withdrawn from circulation, including old and damaged ones.

You will perform the transaction by sending banknotes via courier or post to our branch in Warsaw. You can also appear in person and make a direct exchange. In both cases you will receive payment in one of four available currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, PLN) for exchange of banknotes. We do not have other branches in Poland or the EU, but in the case of larger transactions there is a possibility to collect banknotes from the customer.
A parcel the value of which does not exceed the equivalent of EUR 1,000 (according to the current exchange rate table of Your bank) can be sent via post or courier with insurance against being lost or stolen. You will receive payment for banknotes to your bank account within 5 business days from the date of delivery. The choice of courier service, shipping cost and shipping insurance cost lie with the customer.
We invite you to our branch located in Warsaw. The address of our facility along with its localization map and photos can be found in the contact tab, which shall facilitate your arrival. In the event of exchanging larger amounts, please inform us in advance by telephone to let us prepare the right amount of cash in the currency of your choice. In case of exchange of damaged banknotes, please email a photo of damaged banknotes and contact us by phone. Please familiarize yourself with the transaction limits and principles described in the next section.
The maximum limit for shipping transactions may not exceed the equivalent of EUR 1,000.
As an entity applying financial security measures registered in the EU, we are obliged to comply with European and Polish legal acts, in particular:
- Directive (EU) 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015 on preventing the use of the financial system for money laundering or terrorist financing
- the Act of the Republic of Poland of 1 March 2018 on anti-money laundering and financing terrorism (Journal of Laws 2018 item 723)

Acting as an entity authorized by the National Bank of Poland to carry out currency exchange activities, we have created and implemented an internal procedure for applying financial security measures. In case of exchange transactions above the equivalent of EUR 15,000 (converted according to the average NBP exchange rate from the date of the transaction), we must require the provision of a current document of identity and documents confirming the source of the funds being exchanged. Foreign exchange transactions and low-value transactions combined as a whole are also subject to foreign exchange controls. We invite you to download the "exchange form" necessary for mail order exchange and to get acquainted with and download other important documents.
There is no minimum amount of transaction, which means you can exchange even a small banknote.
We do not buy coins. If you decide to provide them, they will be forwarded without any possibility of return for charitable purposes. We regularly support the activities of Polish nuns conducting missions in Central Africa, photos and thanks can be found here.
Old-cash does not charge any additional fees or commissions.
We make international transfers in the SHA option (transfer costs are divided between the sender and
recipient of the transfer, while old-cash covers the commission of its bank, and the possible other
costs are charged to the recipient by his/her bank in accordance with the table of fees and commissions).
Make sure that the selected payment currency is the same as the currency in which your bank account
is maintained. Otherwise, the bank maintaining your account will proceed to
the currency conversion from the currency you have chosen as the payment method to the currency in which you have
your bank account maintained, which may be unfavorable to you.

of foreign currency values, as well as for brokerage in their purchase and sale, issued by the National Bank of Poland,
which is the body supervising our currency exchange activities.

and our team will evaluate their value and send further information for finalization
of the transaction. For damaged banknotes, the valuation depends on the degree of damage to the banknote,
in the absence of determination of the authenticity of the banknote or excessive damage, we reserve the right to
withdraw from the transaction. In such a case the sent banknotes are available for pickup
only at our branch in Warsaw.
Certainly, if you have trouble printing, just attach the email address or
reference number of the case based on which we will identify your transaction to the banknotes. It is also worth including the identification data
on the envelope or package.
Our pricing policy assumes maintaining the best possible exchange rates for the client.
Price changes on the currency market can sometimes be very dynamic, so to provide you with the best price
for the currencies sold, please send the package no later than the day after
the process of adding banknotes to your wallet is complete. Obviously, if you forget about shipping and will do it a few
days later and exchange rates will be maintained stable there will be no problems
with executing the transaction.
